Get Excited for Disney!

LET'S GET EXCITED FOR DISNEY! Do you have a Disney trip coming up or on your radar for this year? Whether you are heading to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, I have a few printables to help get the whole family excited!!  There are many ways to plan a vacation, but prepping the kids is a vital part to getting ready for your trip. And the first step is telling the kids that you are taking them to Disney! I like to hang the "We are taking you to Disney" sign up to tell them, along with the paper chain, maybe some balloons, and new luggage, or whatever else you want to add!  Kids are still learning the concept of time so a paper chain gives them a visual representation of how many days are left until the big day. And a pro tip that I have learned, use a different color paper for the number of kids you have. So if you have two kids use two different colors of paper on your chain. Wreck-It Ralph Movie Night

Wreck-It Ralph is a sweet movie about an unexpected friendship that forms when different video game platforms collide. A huge turning point in the movie is when Ralph and Vanellope make a car together. The car turns out less than perfect, but to Vanellope that doesn't matter. Vanellope really looks up to Ralph and even makes him a homemade medal to show him how much she cares for him. Ralph is so worried about getting the real medal that he almost ruins everything in his search for it. For this movie night I knew that we had to make some of our own candy cars! For the cars I gathered a few different pastries, candies, and icing and let our creativity take over from there. The body of the cars are Twinkies, Swiss Rolls, and lemon cakes. I got mini Oreos and mini Nilla Wafers that they used for the wheels. And for the rest you can just find anything that looks fun to add, I mostly just raided my pantry to see what I could find.
