Get Excited for Disney!

LET'S GET EXCITED FOR DISNEY!

Do you have a Disney trip coming up or on your radar for this year? Whether you are heading to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, I have a few printables to help get the whole family excited!!

There are many ways to plan a vacation, but prepping the kids is a vital part to getting ready for your trip. And the first step is telling the kids that you are taking them to Disney! I like to hang the "We are taking you to Disney" sign up to tell them, along with the paper chain, maybe some balloons, and new luggage, or whatever else you want to add!

Kids are still learning the concept of time so a paper chain gives them a visual representation of how many days are left until the big day. And a pro tip that I have learned, use a different color paper for the number of kids you have. So if you have two kids use two different colors of paper on your chain. That way there is no confusion on whose turn it is to rip off the next chain.

Another huge part of prepping for a Disney vacation is getting ready for the rides!! And step one for that is knowing which rides your kids will be able to go on. There is nothing more disappointing then getting up to a ride only to find out that your kid is not quite tall enough. So I have also worked up a print-out of a height chart that shows the rides that are available at certain heights. Just hang it up on your wall and line the kids up to measure them!

Once your kids know what rides they can go on you can start watching different movies to help get them excited. This is when you can check out some of my movie night ideas to add even more magic leading up to your trip! We also watch ride throughs on You-Tube on some of the rides that my kids are a little more nervous about. This helps them to know what to expect and that eases some of the uncertainty.

Many rides don't even have a height requirement! These are rides that the whole family can enjoy, even your smallest babes. Most of the rides without a height requirement will even allow you to baby-wear on the ride. So you can keep your baby sleeping and have both your hands free while getting on and off. So to help you prep for these rides I have provided a list to show all of the rides without a height requirement. I only included rides on this list, so there are actually a lot of other things to do with the babies too. Things like the Enchanted Tiki Room, Disney Junior Dance Party, and Turtle Talk with Crush, just to name a few.

I hope this helps you to get the whole family excited for an upcoming Disney trip!
